Aim of the subject:
The course aims for the students to understand the cultural and creative industry, its creative value chain, and the business modelling in creative industries. The students will also get practical experience in working in teams to develop their team skills.
Description of the subject:
The course covers all the critical aspects of the CCI and the creative value chain with its four vertical links (Creator, Production, Distribution, Consumer). The course uses the flipped classroom method meaning active, group-based problem-solving activities in the virtual classroom.
Learning outcomes of the course:
Upon completion of the course the student:
Knows the specifics of the creative industries and the creative value chain;
Understands each of the four vertical links in the creative value chain in more depth;
Is able to create a business model in the CCI.
